Sony, a company not content with illegally putting root kits onto customers machines, pushing out proprietary formats as much as they can and making sure customers laptops explode has now gone one step further.

The much delayed and arguably overpriced PS3 is due to be released in Japan in less than a month and Sony is aggressively pursuing anyone attempting to import the PS3 into Europe before the consoles delayed release in March next year.

In a notice on Lik-Sang's website, the company apologises to customers and sheds some interesting light on what Sony's directors get up to with their bonuses:

Sony have failed to disclose to the London High Court that not only the world wide gaming community in more than 100 countries relied on Lik-Sang for their gaming needs, but also Sony Europe's very own top directors repeatedly got their Sony PSP hard or software imports in nicely packed Lik-Sang parcels with free Lik-Sang Mugs or Lik-Sang Badge Holders, starting just two days after Japan's official release, as early as 14th of December 2004 (more than nine months earlier than the legal action). The list of PSP related Sony Europe orders reads like the who's who of the videogames industry, and includes Ray Maguire (Managing Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd), Alan Duncan (UK Marketing Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd), Chris Sorrell (Creative Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd), Rob Parkin (Development Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited), just to name a few.

Yes, it's going to happen. It's a controversial decision that Pokemon USA is going to recast the voice actors for it's anime. We might have known about it since 4Kids lost it's right to dub any more Pokemon Episodes. At Serebii Forums, a member have recieved email messages from Veronica Taylor and Eric Stuart. They whom are major voice actors since 1998. Since Pokemon USA are dubbing the show Season 9 and onwards, they decided to hire new voice actors which will IMITATE. You heard me right, Imitate the current ones and try to get the same sounding actors. Do you really think that is a good idea? In my option, not because the current voice actors worked hard, but do they think that they want to be imitated by someone else. I wouldn't think so. The 10th Anniversary special will be used as a testing ground for the new voices, but they have yet to be chosen. There may be time to save it.

Many fans were upset by this decision. They have decided to start a main-in campaign to convince Pokemon USA to continue the dub with the previous voice actors who put their hears and souls into the characters for 8 years.

What should you do?
Send a letter to Pokemon USA showing that you opposed the idea of recasting the voice actors.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- School officials on Tuesday fired a middle school teacher charged with biting a student who would not spit out a piece of candy.

Caroline Kolb has pleaded not guilty to an aggravated assault charge for allegedly biting 14-year-old Garrick Hudson on the back during a classroom scuffle Jan. 11.

School officials conducted a probe and fired Kolb for insubordination and conduct unbecoming a teacher, The Courier-Journal reported, citing a copy of her termination letter.

Administrators had previously warned Kolb to avoid being physically confrontational with students, according to the letter.

A call Tuesday to Kolb's attorney was not immediately returned.

The student's mother said Kolb told her son to stand in the hallway after he disobeyed her order to spit out the candy. When the boy tried to retrieve his books, they got into the scuffle.

 
According to court records, the boy was treated for a bite wound.
