Sony puts Lik-sang out of business.

Add to Memories Share
Sony, a company not content with illegally putting root kits onto customers machines, pushing out proprietary formats as much as they can and making sure customers laptops explode has now gone one step further.

The much delayed and arguably overpriced PS3 is due to be released in Japan in less than a month and Sony is aggressively pursuing anyone attempting to import the PS3 into Europe before the consoles delayed release in March next year.

In a notice on Lik-Sang's website, the company apologises to customers and sheds some interesting light on what Sony's directors get up to with their bonuses:

Sony have failed to disclose to the London High Court that not only the world wide gaming community in more than 100 countries relied on Lik-Sang for their gaming needs, but also Sony Europe's very own top directors repeatedly got their Sony PSP hard or software imports in nicely packed Lik-Sang parcels with free Lik-Sang Mugs or Lik-Sang Badge Holders, starting just two days after Japan's official release, as early as 14th of December 2004 (more than nine months earlier than the legal action). The list of PSP related Sony Europe orders reads like the who's who of the videogames industry, and includes Ray Maguire (Managing Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd), Alan Duncan (UK Marketing Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd), Chris Sorrell (Creative Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Ltd), Rob Parkin (Development Director, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited), just to name a few.

I like totally lost all respect towards sony... =(

Pokémon voice recast controversy and the conflicts in fandom

Add to Memories Share
Since March 2006, after the news totally came out that PUSA is going to replace the voice actors, I have notice that this will like totally split the fandom appart. The controversy in my view on BMG, caused alot of fighting, flaming, and bashing because of different opinions and the bashing of SOVA. I won't change my opinion and never going to give up on the effort.

After ComicCon, PUSA seemed to improved the voices, but still they are like still lacking emotion and still not the orginal. Many people went against us and bashing the organization. I know that this is a very controversal issue, but it caused like alot of damage on everyone's part in the Pokémon Fandom. Also, the Pokémon fandom was fandom wanked by someone as a result of the controversy in July/August.

Controvery like totally will end someday, but we like totally do need to respect someone's opinions, and like totally not change it because someone like totally thinks that it's pointless.

I'm sooooo sorry PUSA, but REDUBBING the Mirage special ISN'T GOING TO HELP!

Add to Memories Share
I'm sorry PUSA, but I like totally think that redubbing the special is not going to help to improve the voices anywhere near the new orginal voices. Like, why? Even if they redub the voices, it might be totally near the original voice actors, but it won't come any close. I am a Pokémon fan since 1999 and when the special aired, I was sooooo totally disappointed and lost trust towards PUSA because the way they are handling the Pokémon Anime. The results of the special will never make me loose interest of Pokémon. I like the original voice actors sooooo much I am so use to them.

I never watch the special in whole because I heard a segment of it and It TOTALLY made my ears bleed. PUSA listen to the compliments and announced they will redub the special. Redubbing the special is not going to help. There will be many people that won't even bother watching the special on the 8th movie DVD. Why? Because they don't want to become more disappointed and they know that the voices won't be good as the original.

PUSA babbling about how good the special isn't true. The reality is that the special disappointed most of the Pokémon fans, mainly because of the new voices. If PUSA cared about their fans, they would restore the Pokémon dub back to status quo (reverting it back where it was before PUSA took over the dub). I totally feel that PUSA only cares about making money, not it's fans.

Edit: Correction

Nintendo Wii? What was Nintendo thinking about?!

Add to Memories Share
Today, Nintendo revealed that the Revolution will be renamed Nintendo Wii.

What was like Nintendo thinking about. Wii is not a good name for the revolution and it wounds like Wee, a slang term for urine. =X
